Scotts Run - Stubblefield Falls

Just outside the Capital Beltway on the Virginia side of the Potomac River, Scotts Run is like two parks in one. The waterfall area tends to be crowded and (while beautiful) relatively unappealing. The rest of the park is much quieter and well worth exploring the dense forests, rocky trails and scenic views of the river.
